Channel Art Competition

The British Channel Art Competition.

A total of 610 votes were registered, with one of our young artists work, clearly ahead with a total of 141 votes -

Exhibit H!!!  CONGRATULATIONS Robyn Westwell from Blatchington Mill School - Hove, for her most original 'African Bowl'.  

All the finalists should be pleased and proud of having taken part, helping to make a real difference, £1,000 has been raised as a result of YOUR work!

'The Big Swim across the Channel to bring fresh water to people in Africa'

The competition was devised by local swimmer Angus Macfadyen, attempting to swim the British Channel in 2011. Over one thousand entries were reduced to just eight original and diverse creations  -  The public chose their ultimate winner!
